I was first pulled in by the beautiful cover, but once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. First of all, the authors story was so similar to my own, having also experienced a multitude of paranormal experiences since childhood and three near death experiences, two of which were car crashes that I impossibly walked away from, that have kept me permanently just a bit out of phase with accepted normal reality. So just that had me invested in this book from the start. The writing is vivid and immersive, weaving personal stories with bigger spiritual truths in a way that’s both inspiring and relatable. I found myself captivated by the blend of ordinary life moments with glimpses of the extraordinary. It really just made me reflect on my own experiences in a new light, and inspired me to journal about them. This is one of those books that stays with you after you close it, urging you to question, remember, and step into something more. There are certain books that I re-read at regular intervals because they are important. This is one of them.

Using the metaphor of Gabe, he tells of great trials and tribulations that must be overcome, using numerous psychological techniques and nuggets of wisdom from world traditions. This is very well written and usable by anyone who wants to break through and come up in their life. The Infinity Within is a well written explanation of the search for the soul and how various thinkers have devised meaning for who we are and how we relate to the universe. It's very understandable and the use of characters, one on the search and another character who is his guide, make the deep concepts relatable. There are some excellent points made as the character searches for his soul and its meaning, however, I read it mostly as one man's story, because I couldn't buy into the initial premise. That premise is flawed because it equates Jesus, who spoke the universe into being, as equal to other people throughout time who have searched for their meaning within the universe. The author uses Jesus as an example of a human being who accessed the power of the universe to heal people and he likens that access to other great thinkers, such as Buddha, Eckhart Tolle, Elon Musk, and others. The problem with that comparison is that Jesus said he was from God, said if we want to see God, all we need to do is see Jesus, and Jesus is the only human who ever lived that was resurrected from the dead, as attested to by more than 500 people after he was resurrected. His followers who saw him die were willing to be killed for their beliefs and they birthed the religion of Christianity that has changed all time exponentially. Whereas, all the other great thinkers have died or will die and will meet their maker. Not Jesus. He lived before time and entered time as a human man, and has returned to eternity to show us how to join him there. That is what makes the search for the soul and its meaning valid and greatly important. That seach is one of the reasons I liked the book, because that search is vital to each of us. As Blaise Pascal famously said, "There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus." By all means, search for your soul's meaning and in the search for the great mystery of those things outside our earthly realm that we don't fully comprehend, let the lover of your soul, Jesus, who made you for your exact time in space, lead you to him.

This book was written in a very interesting way, conversations between a guide/mentor Elias and Gabe, as he rediscovers the true nature of his existence and what being human is really about. How we are infinite beings choosing to have a human experience so we can feel emotions, sensations, experiences that we would otherwise not be able to experience in a timeless state without a physical body. And how this ultimately expands and evolves the consciousness of our souls. This book is already very much aligned with everything I already believed in, but told in a story-like manner which I believe will benefit many who are hearing about these concepts for the first time.

They encourage readers to cultivate their own "orchard hush"—a state of quiet reflection that allows for deep introspection and the dissolution of self-doubt. The idea of life as a game in which the soul learns through challenges somehow rang true with me. The discussions on conscious living and personal agency definitely pushed me to consider how I can actively shape my own destiny. All in all I would recommend The Infinity Within to anyone interested in personal growth and spiritual exploration. This book encouraged me to embark on a journey of reflection and introspection that I found really valuable. It pushed me to embrace my doubts and recognize opportunities for transformation even in the most challenging experiences. I was left feeling inspired and hopeful after reading it which is why I am giving it a well deserved 5 Star review. This book truly captures the essence of self discovery and feels like an invitation for me to think about breaking free from many of the limitations that I regularly face in life.
